Characteristics/ IV Guide version. 2

A pokemon's characteristics affect its IV's. IV's can vary from 0 to 31, wich means that a stat with 31 IV's would be 31 points higher than normal. A pokemon can have IV's in more than one stat, but the characteristic allows it to have a high amount of IV's for that stat.

These are the characteristics and the stats they affect, the numbers are the amount of IV's that the characteristic could have.

HP Characteristics

Often dozes off: 1-6-11-16-21-26-31
Loves to eat: 0-5-10-15-20-25-30
Likes to relax: 4-9-14-19-24-29
Often scatters things: 3-8-13-18-23-28
Scatters things often: 2-7-12-17-22-27

Speed Characteristics

Alert to sounds: 1-6-11-16-21-26-31
Likes to run: 0-5-10-15-20-25-30
Quick to flee: 4-9-14-19-24-29
Somewhat of a clown: 3-8-13-18-23-28
Impetuous and silly: 2-7-12-17-22-27

Attack Characteristics

Likes to trash about: 1-6-11-16-21-26-31
Proud of its power: 0-5-10-15-20-25-30
Quick tempered: 4-9-14-19-24-29
Likes to fight: 3-8-13-18-23-28
A little quick tempered: 2-7-12-17-22-27

Special Attack Characteristics

Mischievous: 1-6-11-16-21-26-31
Highly curious: 0-5-10-15-20-25-30
Very finicky: 4-9-14-19-24-29
Often lost in thought: 3-8-13-18-23-28
Thoroughly cunning: 2-7-12-17-22-27

Defense Characteristics

Sturdy body: 0-5-10-15-20-25-30
Good perseverence: 4-9-14-19-24-29
Good endurance: 3-8-13-18-23-28

Special Defense Characteristics

IV Battles

To see what the exact IV's of your pokemon are, ask someone to IV-Battle you, the battle itself isnt important, but you can go into the summary of your pokemon and see its stats at lv100, wich is VERY useful to calculate your pokemon's IV's.
