Idea!

Ok, so I had this idea tonight that could sort of promote something new on PL.

We could create a new usergroup. The members in the group are selected by Kevin (or the leader of the group if we choose to make one). These members don't have any special moderating powers, however, they're recognized for what they do. They'll be a specialist of a specific pokemon type.

So like, we'd have a user that specializes in Fire pokemon. It's this users job to know pretty much everything there is to know about that type. They would know their uses in every competitive battle (OU, UU, Uber, etc), know about which tactics work the best for that type, and just overall know a lot about their specific type. The specialist could also write guides, tier lists, or top 10 lists for their type.


What would we call them? I dunno, I kinda like the name "Sage" for them though. Specialist could always work if we needed to be specific.

We could also have a more than one sage for one type; or one sage for more than one types.


Another thing that could kinda work like this is if we just had experts in Uber, OU, BL, UU, and NU.

That's pretty cool but I doubt people would know that much about a type.

Yeah, that's why I thinking the whole Uber, OU, BL, and UU thing might work best. And we could have lots of experts in one section.

We might but at the time we don't have alot of active members.

i like the idea if its by tier rather than type

Or maybe we could have both. Some specialize in Types and others in Tiers.

well type would be "nooby" imo i mean a grass wiz that'd be stupid
