Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

the chicken evolved from another pre-historic species, so the chicken came first.

But, the egg containing the chicken was a chicken egg... So, that's why I now say the egg came first.

the egg is first it would have to be because the chicken had to be hatch from it for there to be a chicken

and let me answer what i think will come next there had to be a chicken to lay the egg. what i have to say is that the chicken was probably a mutated egg from some prehistoric creature

by means of evolution the chicken could come about without having being hatched but there is no way that an egg that needs the chicken to warm it could come first

the only way the egg came before the chicken is if it was any old egg then of course the egg came first but if we're talking about a chicken egg then the chicken came first

well for there to be a chicken it wouldve had to come from somewhere and since they come from eggs the chicken egg would have to come first im sticking with the mutated egg
