RMT

Post by darkpaladin on Wed Jul 30, 2008 2:09 am

I'm not sure what to have as a lead...

Salamence
Adamant @Yache Berry
252 atk/252 spe/6 hp

Dragon Dance
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
EQ

A mixed sweeper.

Infernape
Naive @life orb/expert belt
252 spe/20 atk/rest in sp atk

CC
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Hp Ice

Another mixed sweeper, I tend to lose my mixed sweepers fast so I thought I'd have two. I absolutely hate being walled.

Garchomp
Adamant @Choice Scarf
252 atk/252 spe/6 hp

EQ
Outrage
Crunch
Fire Blast

Standard Scarf Chomp, this guy rarely lets me down.

Swampert
Impish @Lefties
252 hp/252 def/6 atk

Waterfall
EQ
Avalanche
SR

Standard physical Swampert.

Umbreon
Sassy @Lefties
(Not sure about an ev spread)

Curse
Payback
Wish
Baton Pass

Yeah...

Starmie
Timid @Life orb/expert belt
158 hp/100 sp atk/252 spe

Rapid Spin
Surf
T-bolt
Ice Beam/Recover

I absolutely hate facing Gyarados, so I can easily switch in on a D-Dance and scare him away.

I guess this is more of a "help me with my team" rather than an RMT, suggestions would be nice.

Nice team. I would put swampert as your lead so you can get in some SR support early game. Also, some players lead with something that has intimidate and salamence hates to get - 1 attack so that's another reason why not to lead with him. I don't like having Salamence AND Garchomp on the same team since they give you a huge weakness to ice but i guess it's fine since you have some pokemon that resists ice.

Thanks guys, what would be some good pokemon in place of Salamence, I would hate to get rid of Scarfchomp. I was thinking maybe Bronzong.

i dont see anything wrong with leading with zong but having both him and swampert defeats the purpose, you'd probably be better leading off with something like a gengar

I'm still not sure what to lead with, maybe Swampert like Kevin said. I'm thinking of replacing Salamence with a special wall, I don't know what pokemon to choose though...maybe a Claydol.

Umbreon makes a good special wall. If you wanted to use Zong he does make an awesome lead. You could also lead with something like Jolteon, Gengar, or Aerodactyl. If you wanted to drop Mence for another mixed sweeper you could use a mixed Gengar.

Gengar @ life orb
Focus Punch
Explosion
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
