Super Novelty Team

Post by Guest on Tue Jul 01, 2008 8:23 am

Remember i made these set myself. i worked hard don't theft me .

Psycho Switch Noctowl
Timid Noctowl @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Insomina
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Speed / 6 Defense
Moveset:
- Hypnosis
- Reflect
- Psycho Shift
- Night Shade

Pretty much, use one attack and switch to allow another poke to set up.
then i will randomly switch it in to set up reflect. If i see status coming my way switch this guy in and psycho shift it. mainly only works with burn and poison... paralyze some what.

Special Sub Punch Electivire
Rash Electivire @ Life Orb
252 Speed / 200 Sp. Attack /56 Attack
Moveset:
- Flamethrower
- Discharge
- Focus Punch
- Substitute

Sub + Orb take a lot out of him but take a few poke with it worth it.
Yeah sub attack... you get it. also discharge for hax. and it can 1HKO a bliss

Suicide Uxie
Bold Uxie @ Leftovers
252 HP / 128 Defense / 128 Sp. Defense
Moveset:
- Stealth Rock
- Pyschic
- Yawn
- Menento

pretty much, sleep... when need dies... for the good of the team.. also sets up rs.

Ex Registeel
Relaxed Registeel @ Wide Lens
252 HP / 128 Defense / 128 Sp. Defense
Moveset:
- Counter
- Explosion
- Zap Cannon
- Shadow Claw

mainly to counter... then when low on hp explosion. and Zap Cannon is just for power + hax and Shadow Claw is only for ghost mainly..

Special Chomp
Modest Garchomp @ Choice Specs
252 Sp. Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
Moveset:
- Surf
- Flamethrower
- HP [Electric]
- Draco Meteor

Never before seen special chomp.. i had it made since some time in 2007... but now wanted to reuse the idea. yup just special sweeper

Specs Blissey "666 Bliss"
Bold Blissey @ Choice Specs
62 HP / 252 Defense / 192 Sp. Attack
Moveset:
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball

full on special sweeper hax included =]also some what of a sp. wall.
Yeah it has 666 HP =]

I think that the for Cresselia, you should get rid of Psych Up and put in a better move like Iron Defense or something.

Looks like fun. I have only a few suggestions, and since this is a novelty team feel free to ignore anything I say.

I don't really understand the scarf on Noctowl. Is it to out speed things you're taking status from? Becuase with 252 spd EVs he should be faster anyhow. Leftovers would let you switch your moves. You could even use toxic or flame orb to garuntee status passing if you wanted to.

I'd give Cress a non-psychic move just so that dark types don't tottaly shut you down. I don't know what Cress' physical movepool looks like, but maybe you could switch Psychic for Ice Beam. Also, does Psych-Up steel their boost or simply copy it? If it only coppies you'll have to watch out for Sword Dance, Dragon Dance, And Nasty Plot users. Even if Cress copies their buffs, she'll still be slower and her defenses won't be getting raised.

Have you considered putting Rock Polish on Regirock? You could use it to make sure that you're fast enough to explode before you die after a counter.

Other than that everything looks good.

this is played in OU and i want to be faster than everything... like jolteon and the the infamous aero... that you see every shoddy battle <_<
the scarf works well Razz
i get status like.... some one will w-o-w my e-vire... i see it coming i switch to noctowl... to shift it over

eh.. cress was only for walls that set up CM/Bulk Up and other stuff
also i swtich it to uxie now =]

and its registeel... i'll try it if it can learn rock polish.

The sweeper Blissey is a little odd.. o.O I think that Natural Cure would be better, but thats Serebii's word, not mine. But I guess that would be better for a sweeper Blissey. Is a novelty team supposed to mean its odd..?
